Site Description
St Dunstan’s College is a co-educational independent school located in Catford, London across two large sites. The pavilion building had fallen into disrepair and required extensive refurbishment.
Project Description
This project had to be completed within the summer school holidays which was a very limited timeframe based on the extent of the works.
Works:
- Removal of existing external timber cladding, facia and soffits, windows, water tank and frame.
- Removal internally of all stud partitions.
- Excavate and lay new drainage.
- Supply and install new sanitary wear & associated plumbing
- Over covering on current roof
- Construct new metal stud walls.
- Plasterboard ceiling and plaster throughout.
- Electric Design and installation.
Challenges:
Tight timescale, completion of project within school holidays ready for occupation in September.
Outcomes:
Well designed, high quality finish completely transforming the building.
During the project we delivered a safe and healthy working environment for all operatives, staff, pupils and visitors and zero reportable accident/incident rate.Project completed ready for start of the new school term. Established successful working relationship with the school and have returned for other works
